Kaspersky and Avast are both great antiviruses and anti-malware”*;

Significantly, Barclays won’t give you this if you only administer your Barclaycard online and don’t have a current account with them. A bit strange as I assume the offer is to make their customers’ online transactions safer whatever their reasons for accessing the Barclays websites. Having only half the customers secure hardly seems sensible.

In another vein, do Barclays currently push the Trusteer Rapport software, as do most other banks? I ask as, not only is Rapport of doubtful use, it has known problems with Kaspersky. I’m a Kaspersky user already (though I have to pay – sulk) and I wouldn’t dream of changing just to accommodate a piece of relatively unknown software like Rapport.

I always prefer to use Kasperky over Avast or McAfee. Kaspersky is much better in detecting new viruses and it does not consume too much resources on your dektop PC.;’~

Kaspersky works better than Avg or Avast antivirus. Some viruses and trojan would not be detected by AVG but they are always detected by Kaspersky.

~ i have used Kaspersky and it is a good anti-virus, my only complain about Kaspersky is that it uses more memory compared to other anti-virus like Avast,
