Alliance & Leicester have informed us that due to essential maintenance, their internet banking service will be subject to occasional interruptions from Midnight until approximately 02:00am on Thursday 13th January 2011.
Given the late time frame we don’t think this will be affecting too many of you!

A year on and Santander’s online banking service is still rubbish. The instructions for logging on for the first time are incorrect, and they don’t bother to tell you that their site only works on Internet Explore and possibly Firefox, but not Google Chrome.
The site now does not recognise my logging on details at all and their “customer support” is less than useless.
Online banking “service” – they have to be joking.
