Securing your Online Banking service

The most important aspect of using any online banking services, is security.  It can be an overwhelming area to consider, with passwords, e-mail scams, identity theft and anti-virus to name just a few of the things constantly in the news.

Thankfully banks do their utmost to protect their customers, as security loopoles or failures in their security systems have a damaging and lasting impact on thier reputation.  The knock on effect being that customers would likely close their accounts and move to banks where the felt their hard earned ££s were safe.

All banks offering online banking do have some form of gurantee in place, which effectively means that should they be deemed responsible for losing your money, then they would fully re-imburse these losses.
