Santander announced today that personal Alliance & Leicester savings and current accounts have successfully been transferred onto the Santander system. No action is needed by account holders as a result of this transfer and you can continue to use your account details and manage your accounts.

It looks like Lloyds TSB are releasing a fairly a biggish update to their online banking service, more so as the are promoting it to their registered users via mailshots.
The revised service is set to be released in a few weeks, and as well as a fresh new look to the site, there are also some new features being added to improve the overall service.

Natwest have informed us that their online banking website is in the final stages of being updated, though a date is yet to be announced for launch. As well as a visual refresh, improvements are being made to add some additional functionality and features.

Barclays have launched a refreshed and updated online banking site for 2009, with not only just a change to the look and feel, but also adding a few new features. Unfortunately the new site launch didn’t run as smoothly as intended and users struggled to login to their service today.
